Who’s that coming around the corner?
You can tell it’s the Allosaurus from afar, thanks to its heavy footsteps. Standing tall, the giant walks on two legs through the jungle, looking for prey. Although it is so big, it’s pretty well camouflaged. In fact, its lizard skin is patterned so that it blends in perfectly with its surroundings. It inspects the area with beady yellow eyes. Let’s hope it doesn’t suddenly decide it wants a snack! No wonder this fearsome carnivore is one of the most dangerous predators in the dinosaur world.
Allosaurus’ patterned lizard skin looks like a camouflage suit. That’s pretty practical since the giant carnivore is almost always on the hunt. On two legs, it can run unbelievably fast through the jungle and can easily catch up with any prey. There’s no escape from its powerful jaws and sharp teeth. It can even take on other dinos.
